What We Do

The 49er Club exists to power the success of Charlotte student-athletes on the field, in the classroom, and through life. As the official philanthropic arm of Charlotte Athletics, the 49er Club fuels scholarship support and critical program resources for more than 400 student athletes competing across 19 varsity sports.

Since 1969, the 49er Club has been a driving force behind the success of Charlotte Athletics, creating opportunities to pursue excellence with integrity and represent the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with pride.
